Florida pool cages take a beating. Sun degrades the fiberglass screen into a brittle, faded mesh that tears in the next windstorm. Salt air corrodes aluminum frames near the coast. Post-hurricane damage leaves panels torn and frames bent. At some point, a full restoration makes more sense than another patch repair.
We handle the full range of pool cage work — from a single torn screen panel to a complete frame-to-screen restoration.
Screen replacement — The most common job. We rescreen individual panels or the full cage. Standard fiberglass replacement is the most economical. We also install solar mesh (heat reduction), super screen (high UV blocking), pet-resistant polyester, and privacy mesh upgrades.
Frame repair — Straighten bent members, replace corroded sections, reinforce connection points. We assess frame condition during every estimate and tell you honestly whether repairs are cost-effective.
Door repair and replacement — Pool cage doors take more wear than any other panel. We replace worn door screens, adjust roller hardware, replace closers, and install new latches.
Full cage restoration — Clean the entire frame, treat corrosion, replace all screen panels, replace hardware throughout. A completely restored cage looks and performs like new.
Partial solar mesh upgrades — Replace just the sun-facing panels with solar mesh while keeping standard screen on shaded sections. Reduces cage heat dramatically at a fraction of the full solar mesh cost.
We're honest about this. If the frame is structurally sound, restoration is almost always the better investment. New frames cost significantly more than a full rescreening of an existing frame.
The exceptions: extreme corrosion that's compromised structural welds, impact damage to multiple vertical and horizontal frame members, or a frame that's simply past its useful life. We'll tell you which situation you're in.
The Treasure Coast sees tropical activity most hurricane seasons. Post-storm pool cage repair demand spikes after every major event. We prioritize existing customers for post-storm work and offer assessment visits within a few days of a storm.
If your cage took damage last season and you haven't had it repaired yet, now is the right time — before the next season.
When the cage is open for rescreening, it costs almost nothing extra to upgrade select panels to solar mesh or to add motorized retractable screen sections to specific openings. This is the most efficient time to do both jobs. We'll show you what's available when we do the estimate.
Single-panel screen replacement starts under $200. Full cage rescreening typically runs $2,000–$8,000 depending on cage size. Frame repair and full restoration projects range from $5,000 to $20,000+. We provide itemized quotes after measuring the cage.
